The Loom (EQ)

Tap the “EQ” label on Now Playing to open the deck. Two threads run across it: the ghost thread shows what an AutoEq correction curve wants for your headphones, and the ink thread shows what your device’s bands are actually doing right now.

What’s free

The basic equalizer is free for everyone, no trial required: your device’s own bands, the core preset set, A/B comparison, and automatic anti-clip headroom. An equalizer is table stakes for a music player, not a power feature — it isn’t behind Solomorph+.

What Solomorph+ adds

The AutoEq database is the same public, MIT-licensed correction index used elsewhere in the headphone community — thousands of measured headphones, searchable from the profile sheet, fetched once and cached so a correction you’ve chosen keeps working offline afterward.

A curve you’ve built or found travels as a plain, paste-able share code — nothing account-bound, just text you can hand to someone else.

The automation surface lets something like Tasker drive the EQ from outside the app. It’s off by default: an exported receiver is a real abuse surface if it’s just sitting open, so it stays opt-in rather than on by convenience.
